In this second upload of Stargate SG-1 music for the Season 10, here is the two-part episode for The Quest. There are many scenes inside a cave in both episodes and this doesn’t translate well with the vocal removal option, so I decided to delete these cues and share the two episodes in one upload.

We start this month with a new topic: Stargate SG-1 music!
But instead of selecting from all the seasons, I have selected some episodes from Season 10 only this time. And so, with start with the last episode of the TV Series (not counting TV movies), which is “Unending”.

As we all know, although the theme music was based on David Arnold’s theme for the movie, Joel Goldsmith expanded the Stargate universe with his own compositions and to the aid on creating the episodic music we have Neal Acree.

I am preparing some music rips from Stargate SG-1 Season 10 (the last as a TV series), starting with the last episode. I have selected some episodes to complete four entries but if you have a suggestion, share it with me.

For this time, I will cover only Season 10, but if you want the episodic music from other seasons, let me know and I will work on them for later. But please be specific on the episode selection and not those “I want all” suggestions!

For the second season, the episode 13 – Critical Mass, we have a sequence created specially for us, soundtrack fans. Rachel Lutrell (Tayla in the series) sings the song “Beyond the Night”. The song has a celtic feeling in it, but with some flute-like instruments it gives it an ethnic sound too. Rachel singing is wonderful and we would love to have it in a second CD, but in the meantime, I have edited the song and you can listen a sample

This is my first review about a TV show, so I hope this goes well.

Stargate Atlantis is an entertaining show with a new enemy: the Wraith but besides the fascination on finding more about the Ancients we have crossovers to the Stargate SG-1 show plus the appearance of several actors that portrayed other famous sci-fi TV shows makes it even more appealing.
