With the release a new Bond film I thought it would be a good idea to share this one. Is a compilation that I’ve been working on for some time now. It includes many reported Bond songs that never made it to the final cut. There are some reports that a few were actually considered as Bond songs, but for the rest, we can’t tell much. So, instead of claim that all of the songs in this compilation are actually rejected songs, I see them as Inspired by the movies.

Whenever possible, I have bought the original CDs or traded for the unofficial releases. You can have a clue of which ones were extracted from the actual CDs and which ones were downloaded as mp3 from several different sources from my Bond music list.

This new BBC Wales series is very entertaining, while it is strange to see a young Merlin who is younger than anyone else, including Arthur, Morgana and with Uther Pendragon still alive. The music is composed by Rob Lane who is well-known in UK with The Lost World, Longford and Jane Eyre, and in USA has scored HBO’s John Adams and Elizabeth I.

This share has some tracks with removed dialog and many that are not because the result was not very good, but it still very enjoyable. There is an enchantment at the end that has a singing quality that is quite charming, I wonder who the singer is…

Another Doctor Who music request, Season 4 of the new series, Episode 11: Turn Left.
This is one of those ‘what if’ episodes, when Donna turns right and doesn’t meet again the Doctor and the whole future is changed.
Again, the music is composed by Murray Gold and I have been able to remove part of the dialog so this is better than the last share.

In this second upload of Stargate SG-1 music for the Season 10, here is the two-part episode for The Quest. There are many scenes inside a cave in both episodes and this doesn’t translate well with the vocal removal option, so I decided to delete these cues and share the two episodes in one upload.

For a couple of days, I have been unable to connect to Mediafire website.
After checking in other blogs, other users are reporting the same situation. It seems that they might be blocking non-US users. I can’t confirm that but at least I can’t.

So this week’s upload is delivered to you thru Sendspace. I hope it is just a temporary situation with Mediafire because even though Sendspace is great, they delete files that are not downloaded for some time. Which Mediafire doesn’t do. So I don’t have to upload all the files all over again.

In brief, let’s wait this week to see how this situation evolves and if this doesn’t resolves, you can post your requests for re-uploads in each entry.

We start this month with a new topic: Stargate SG-1 music!
But instead of selecting from all the seasons, I have selected some episodes from Season 10 only this time. And so, with start with the last episode of the TV Series (not counting TV movies), which is “Unending”.

As we all know, although the theme music was based on David Arnold’s theme for the movie, Joel Goldsmith expanded the Stargate universe with his own compositions and to the aid on creating the episodic music we have Neal Acree.

The conclusion of the story that started with “The Silence in the Library”, with a very dramatic ending and quite heartbreaking for Donna and a mysterious companion for the Doctor.
